RIVALS FOR LIFE:
Eleventh Annual Civil War Blood Drive

Between November 1-17, 2012, the American Red Cross, Lane Blood Center (formerly Lane Memorial Blood Bank), Oregon State University Alumni Association and the University of Oregon Alumni Association will take part in a statewide, two-week campaign to increase community blood donations prior to the critical holiday period.

This year marks the 11th anniversary of the award-winning partnership. Fans, students and alumni of both universities are encouraged to donate on behalf of their team November 1-17 at any American Red Cross or Lane Blood Center blood drive in Oregon. The university with the most submitted ballots will be announced on this site prior to the Civil War game in Corvallis, Oregon on November 24th.

This friendly competition between both state universities brings fans and alumni throughout Oregon to local blood drives and helps raise the awareness of the constant need for blood across our region.

Your Chance To Win Tickets

All participants may enter a drawing to win one of several pairs of tickets to the 2012 Civil War football game in Corvallis on Saturday, November 24th, a $100 certificate to the Ducks or Beavers store, or a Civil War party package. The drawing will be held prior to November 20th and the winner will be notified by phone or email as listed on the raffle entry form.
