Lane Memorial Blood Bank

Lane Memorial Blood Bank is a nonprofit community organization that has been the only source of donated blood for all Lane County medical facilities since 1961. Its mission is to support and sustain life by providing a safe blood supply from volunteer donors. The Executive Director is Doug Engel.

American Red Cross

The American Red Cross Pacific Northwest Blood Services Region, founded in 1949, is the sole supplier of blood and blood products to 81 hospitals in Oregon, Washington and Alaska. In order to meet the needs of its patients, the region must collect at least 5,000 units of blood each week.
